Due to supply chain and manufacturing disruptions with DLA vendors, production of the NWU Type III blouse is critically constrained and currently not available for purchase in any size. The expected get well date for NEXCOM replenishment of the NWU Type III blouse is Fall 2025.

Nametape and BOS sold separately
The Type III Blouse has Velcro patch sewn on the sleeves pocket flaps in order to accommodate the DTOM and Reverse US flag patches that are authorized for wear. The blouse is fitted with a front tab for a slip on rank device. Same device may be used for both parka and blouse.
- The blouse length should fall between bottom of crotch and middle of the trouser cargo pocket flap. No gapping at the blouse opening in the from and flaps should overlap. Fully extended, cuffs fastened should cover the wrist bone, but not extend beyond the first knuckle at the base of the thumb. When the sleecves are rolled the should have a 3” wide band covered by cuff with fabric side out and cuffs fastened falls approximately 2” above elbow
- Machine wash with a mild detergent and tumble dry on medium heat. No ironing required. Dryer sheets and fabric softeners are not recommended
