The risk of toxic shock syndrome (TSS) increases with higher absorbency. In order to reduce your risk of TSS, you should use the lowest absorbency that meets your needs. Absorbency: Light; Absorbency Range (Grams): Less than 6 g. Absorbency: Regular; Absorbency Range (Grams): 6 - 9 g. Absorbency: Super; Absorbency Range (Grams): 9 - 12 g. Absorbency: Super Plus; Absorbency Range (Grams): 12 - 15 g. Absorbency: Ultra; Absorbency Range (Grams): 15 - 18 g. Use for 8 hours maximum.
